hey everyone

I've been travelling around the US for the last 78 days filming a hiker as he set a world record. I shot the show 98% with just the DVX100a, a UV filter, and my two hands as I hiked over 600 miles filming this adventure. Please check it out if you get a chance. It's called "Duofold Presents...Live Your Passion." It's a three-episode series, the first one aired last night. They have already schedule re-airs.

Let me know what you think.

i bought two of the 5600mahs, and the one that came with the camera...we travelled from state to state in an RV (minus hawaii and alaska), so i charged between hikes.

Yeah I'm curious as well. Anyway you could post a few clips or grabs? I don't get the OLN channel but am interested in the project.

So if you hiked right along with the guy, then didn't you also set whatever this record is? Plus you were carrying a camera!

the record was a 32 mile hike in each of the 50 states...I couldn't keep up, but I did push myself to avergae about 13 miles a day for a grand total of 690 personal miles...almost half of all that he hiked for the record. hey, if i could do it...it would be a easy record.

but yes, i was also carrying a camera and equipment...so a show about me would have been funnier.

the second episode of the show is on tonight at 5:30pm ET...check olntv.com for local listings...please check it out if you have a chance...

Just watched it. Great to see the DVX in action. Wish I was in the kind of shape this guy is to be taking on this challenge. Footage looked great but the voice-over was a bit cheesy.

Cool. I will watch for it. I'm preparing to shoot a TV pilot with my DVX, and will be interested to see your show.
