I just finished a new short for my fall, 2008 filmmaking class. It should have been an easy project but right from the beginning things kept going wrong. The weather would not co-operate; the parents of two of my actors insisted on being on set whenever we were shooting (that wouldn't have been so bad but they thought they knew more about making movies than me and kept interrupting the shooting to tell me what I was doing wrong) and they always seemed to be in a hurry to be somewhere else, which added to the pressure on me; the house where we were shooting had horrible accoustics and echoed; on the second day of shooting the wind picked up and ruined the audio (I had to delete the production audio and replace it with a new ambient sound track); the list just goes on and on.
