This is a short we did to set the style we are going to use in the big movie we are going to make hopefully within a year and half.
We didn't pay attention to props and history scenery in this promo, altough it's is shot on the spot where it all happened 300 years ago.

Interesting Dolph. Could be an extremely powerful piece. Id def. look at going wide angle on some of those shots. But I liked the feel youre going for.

I saw a couple seconds of it earlier, and it looks good. I had to get off, though, and now it's gone... but based on the story and what I saw I look forward to seeing more.

Wow. Awesome job. movie making is so much more than just pixels. It's story, music, talent, setting, color vibe, edit, shots... the list goes on. I think you nailed this one. The music, which I think people WAY underestimate, was PERFECT. For the price point (HPX500), people would be confused that this didn't cost more by the way you made it look. I love my 500. Makes some amazing images. Great job. Very nice grade and choice of shots without being obvious in trying to do shallow DOF stuff.

What lens was used?

Thanks Sonic,
I used the canon 16x (HD). Its indeed unbelievable the looks and quality comes out of the HPX500.

Very nice love the naturally small DOF
the only thing is you need a small black line around the subtitles to make them more legible against the building wall but other than that Bravo! Its really good.

Nice test. I'd be interested to see this. I've been to some of the slavehouses in Senegal and it's chilling to see.
