hello all, first time poster, very long time lurker. Just finished my fourth film, first using dvx. This was done solo with just me and the actor. I'm just a kid, and frankly forums tend to scare me, but i'd like to see what you guys think, so eat me alive.

silence

p.s. sorry about the compression in advance. Also, this version doesn't have the title on it.

Liked the driving footage because it had a nice rhythm with the music. But it went on for too long for me. Overall, this was an ok short. The soundtrack was interesting. Keep at it and post some more films.

very artsy, but I liked it.

Cut it down though... shorten it maybe by a minute.. like most of the ending...

Nice work, really liked the colors in the film. The driving sequence did get rather long though, as stevesherrick said. I liked the use of rack focus (especially the shot with moon), but don't over-use it. What music did you use for this, btw?

Good job.

the shadow of the car in your shot is hilarious-
didnt understand the film, but I thought it looked really nice-

Pretty cool little diddy... I agree with other post, that it needs to be shortened a bit... Is there a message here? or is it just what it is... What did you do to speed up those driving shots?

Yeah, the message is just to sort of be released from commercialism and the city, like a breakthrough. I just shot about a whole tape's worth of footage and sped it up. This was for my portfolio for a couple of different art colleges so that's why it's kind of more abstract.

Keep it up we all start from somewhere, good job playing with the different angles.
