This is a short my friends and I made while on our Honors English trip to Ashland, Oregon. If any of you are interested in theater in general, I highly recommend you check it out. They put on some amazing plays.

Anyways, the plot revolves around getting drunk off of Listerine. That's pretty much all there is to it.

Shot in about 2 hours on a raw DVX100B, using natural/technical lighting.

Enjoy.

Thanks for the positive feedback guys. I'm looking forward to making a bunch of shorts this summer and I'll be sure to post them here.

i liked the Office style camerish movements....i liked it up until the guy falls....but then it became too repititive.

But great creative work all the same!

PLEASE tell me how you got true 16:9 footage out of the DVX.

Where are you guys located?

Everything about this film was disturbing though.

For the 16:9, I shot in squeeze, edited in widescreen in Premiere, then transferred the .avi to Sorensen Squeeze where I changed the output dimensions to 480x240.

We're from Northern California, about 30 minutes east of San Francisco. I'll be going to college down south in Long Beach this fall.

I'll take the "disturbing" as a compliment, haha.

When you say shot in 'squeeze', does that mean Menu> Camera Setup> Aspect Convo> LetterBox?

Whitewood-I'm using the DVX100B, so "squeeze" is an option along with Normal and Letterbox. I use squeeze.

And on the contrary, Jon, I'm actually not a big fan of Dane Cook at all. Haha.

But I've been searching ALL over the net and people with DVX100A's are using Squeeze also. How?
