FS5: New short film shot on the Sony Fs5- Sharon 66

Good stuff! Held my interest throughout, and I’ve never heard of you, Sharon, or the actors so have no vested interest in being interested, if you catch my drift. Having a story that resonates with probably just about everyone with a creative bent goes a long way.

I’m not a film-maker, so take this for what it’s worth, but I found the smeary flare around some light sources to be too much. Also that it was directional in a slanted, diagonal way. Was that deliberate?

I laughed out loud at the interview line about Blender gloves. (Read the interview after watching the film.)

You’ve inspired me to try a short narrative film. The inspiration is unlikely to outlast the week, but hey …

Hey, thank you for watching it all the way through and responding! I'm glad it held your attention. As far as the smeary flares, those are intentional, I do happen to like the aesthetic of vaseline and pantyhose over the lens a lot. It really only bothers me in that first lake scene (our pantyhose rips were too small and we had to get it quickly so we just threw some vas on a clear filter).

I hope you make something man! Shoot it over when you do :)

Held me throughout too. It was offbeat, but also really compelling, I found the objective (almost voyeuristic) camerawork really engaging too.

Well done.

Yes as already said this keeps you intrigued and involved from the start, love the soundtrack too felt very Safdie brothers with a twist of Connan Mockasin. Good work
