Here are a few teaser grabs from my first attempt at a short. It's called "Bread", till now that is  ;D and includes both a child (mine) and a bird not mine)!

I am working on the treatment and titles would love a broadcast monitor , but will just wing in the mean time. Full res stills reside here . . . .

these look good. for my own knowledge though.. im just wondering if you did some sharpening in post, or had the detail turned up or somthing because there seems to be alot of "sharpie" artifacts in the images.

..perhaps from the web compression?

..yeah, if you gamma correct, or lighten /brighten it you start to get that.. that would explain it. it doesnt look bad, just wondering where it was from. :)

no wide angle . . . that arrives tmr !!! This is shot in Malta, in my sons bedroom. And the clip is soon on the way. Mpeg 4 mov? whats the most popular post format?

hey that was good! the download was waaaaay too long though. i dont know if its the server its on, or the quality of the clip being so high though. it seemed to be pretty high quality for somthing for web streaming. perhaps try a lower quality upload, cause people with slower connections will be in abosolute agony! but again i liked it. the sparrow was cute, and the boy did a good job, it felt real, and not staged like alot of productions do nowadays. : keep up the good work! id love to see more.

It must be a transatlanic problem . . . any idea of how to host a copy over seas?

just watched the clip, very nice work! ;)

I was surprised to see such close-ups of the bird. Those things take off on me all the time when I try to get close. <insert joke here>

argh you recognised me!!  Just joking. I did work in vfx though with stargate digital. and hey Contact, a one way mirror & some patience did the trick 8)

My guess is , Theos, that your very nice little deal-i-o was shot DVX100,
and NOT, I repeat, NOT with "A" model. Am I correct, Theos? ...Theos?

yeps DVX100e which refers to PAL, why? What makes you say that? Hey and nobody mentions my boy! Isnt he a great actor?
