This looks incredibly promising:

Aptina just announced a new sensor capable of recording

From the Popular Photography article:
Aptina, the company behind Nikon's 1-inch sensors, has just announced its newest generation, the 14-megapixel AR1411HS.

This new sensor will provide 4620x3084 still images, 4k@60fps video, and high speed footage from 1080p 120fps, all the way down to 1200fps in a 4620x170 strip. Still images can be captured at a whopping 80fps, and you'll be able to record 1080p video and capture 14-megapixel images at the same time.

No mention however, on whether or not this is RAW or not. I'd guess not.

I'd also guess that this will end up in a new Nikon camera sometime around 2019.

Of cours it's RAW: the sensor always outputs RAW.

But then:
* this is only S16 (3x crop wrt FF)
* Aptina uses an HDR mode that is optimized for security cameras: they say it has about 14 stops of DR, but that is inter-frame DR, achieved by changing exposure from one frame to another. You can disable that, but then DR will be a lot smaller, probably 10 stops or so (I can't be sure this applies to this particular Aptina sensor; it is true of their older models).

So potentially you could get something like 4k @ 30p or 1080 @ 60p in a semi HDR with 14 stops of dynamic range in a s16 format. Boom !!!! I'm in the second that one comes out :)

Cheers,
Pete

The BAE Systems sCMOS sensor in the original BMC, or in the pocket BMC, has the DR and the fps that you want (the BMC sensor can get to 100 fps, it's the ASIC that can't work that fast), and has been in production for a long time...
