New Sandisk SD card with 5d3 raw

The 5DMKIII's SD card slot is limited to 21MB/s and the CF card slot is ~107MB/s. RAW video recording can be just to the CF slot or combined between both for a datarate of ~120MB/s. So the SD card serves a less important role in recording. It is nice to have the ML install on the SD card so you can leave it in the camera at all times. This way your settings are stored. I am looking at getting a 32GB SD card and willlet price & brand determine the choice rather than speed. B&H has a Sandisk 80MB/s SDHC for $37.
 
Bummer. I have a few of the 45MB/s Sandisk cards I use in my Nex and Blackmagic pocket cam. Guess they'll continue to be useful when shooting stills with the 5d3 and GH4 since I'm unloading the others to fund the GH4. Thanks for the clarification.
 
Sure. It takes a lot of research to get all of the info on Magic Lantern. I am just getting started with it and trying to sort it all out myself.
