New redrock Cinescreen 2 footage!

Cinescreen 2 vs. Cinescreen 1 TESTS
http://www.vimeo.com/2176593

I recently bought the upgrade for Redrock Micro Mini 35 adapter. The upgrade is a new and improved ground glass which is supposed to have better light transmission and contrast... I shot this test to see if it was worth spending the $150 bucks... here it is!

This test was shot on the Canon XH A1, and using one 1K Red-Head for lighting... personally I think the new cinescreen is not that much better... it's only improvements are in slightly better light transmission. But decide for yourself, you can download the WMV file and watch it on your HDTV to really compare the difference. Let me know what you guys think, and what kind of a test you think I should do next. I'm already thinking of setting up a low light scene that's only lit by candle lights, hopefully in that scenario the new cinescreen will prove it's worth.

There's no need to post this same message three times. Not that we don't appreciate your test, just that one post will suffice.

Did you see my low-light comparison about twenty posts back? If not, please check it out before you do your next test so that we have a wide range of tests.

Nope, sorry... I'm not sure how to navigate through forums... sorry for multiple posts... as for your test I'd love to see it... where can I find it?

Here's the link to the new LOW LIGHT test I just did:

After this test I'm finally convinced that the upgrade is worth the money.

I really needed some help getting a cinescreen II

hey, guys i buit a DIY adapter based on a spinning ground glass. I spend almost a year building it. My main problem always has been the quality of
the groundglasss. This seems to be an answer for my problems. i never bought a M2. Do you guys know if there is a way to buy the cinescreen II, without a serial number. If anyone could help, if anyone could sell me one, you
would be doing me a great favor. i apreciate any reply. thanks.
