new quickie short about the life of an editor

That was funny as hell. Hey Richard, were those movies clips from X-men 3? I didn't see the shot of the robot head in the official trailer. Where'd you find it?

Haha, that was pretty great. Good break from the **** I'm working on now. Although now it's gotten me worried about whether I want to finish the job or not... :p

Funny and so true it's frightening. I do think that an additional pick up could be for the client to adjust the piece one frame.. and then say, "Now I can live with that.. now it's perfect".

Admittedly as much as cabin fever and flat butt can take effect.. I'll take the horrors of editing over the nightmares of production. Kind of like a womb compared to the barbaric activities involved during production... I long for my extended lunch breaks, safety/production meetings... and render time/encoding playstation mental hiatus...


Do you think I could find a decent "non-God" complex DP on that strip? And possibly a sound guy who wouldn't come with a giant whine complex.... JK
 
I like to bounce back and forth, I love both aspects - when I edit too much, I long to shoot, and when I shoot to much, I long to edit - desire is the plight of all beings..
