New Product Preview: Redrock Revolution

Ok, Ok. For five bills, I'll probably try it anyway. Which canon lens do you recommend attaching it to? I'll probably need longer rods as well, yes?

Woah cowboy..what are you hinting at now...am I on crack...is Canon releasing an "XL3"? are they going to bring out an HD cam soon?

Just wanted to say that I'll be on the list to buy this software you are making when it comes out for the Mac. Great job on all your contributions to the world of dv. You and this forum have brought back an excitement to me that I had long forgotten about. Keep on rockin in the free world.

On this website, which you would think would be heavy in heavy favour of the Mac because of its content creation market etc, PC's still equate to 82% of all traffic... so I dont know where all the Mac people are hiding.

...They're all out staying busy in the professional world ;) ha had to say it ;)

Notice I said "starts with H and ends with D", not "starts with X and ends with 3" :)

I'd say just stick with your standard XL2 lens. Our rods are 18" long, so it should be plenty of length for you.

i asked the corporate canon video rep when they were going to produce a HD version of the XL2, he laughed and said "when the market is ready for one." than i asked him whether he knew about the new HVX200, he laughed and shrugged " i guess they're jumping on the bandwagon as well, it's nothing Canon is worried about."
then it was my turn to laugh.

It's not yet available for PC or Mac as far as I know. I believe beta testing wrapped this summer and things are moving on to the next phase!
