I have several ways available now to power the AF100 and external recorders some in conjunction with Dolgin Engineering.
Here are some examples.
The new Swit Bttery with Power for the AF100 and NanoFlash:
IF THE IMAGES DON'F FIT WELL ON YOUR SCREEN, right click on them and choose "view image" to see complete image. On Macs choose "open image in new window", or use gestures or mighty mouse to scroll around the images.
The new plate that mounts to the NanoFlash or pretty much anywhere and uses AF100 compatible batteries, so you only need one type of battery in your kit. There is a dovetail plate that attaches to the Nano and then the battery plate slides on and fastens to it.
The new Dolgin 7.3v to 12v conversion plate, it converts the AF100 battery power to 12v so you can power the KiProMini with the same batteries as the the camera and it can use my new dovetail plate to mount anywhere or can be directly mounted to a shoulder bracket or my KiProMini arm system. I will have more photos of this system soon.
And I now have both IDX and AntonBauer plates in stock that power both the AF100 and various accessories at the same time (up to 50watts).
The plates will power an AF100 7.3v, I make custom cables that can be used with the AF100 charger or the 7.3v D-tap on the IDX plate. AB has a cable with a battery paddle built in.
I also make custom cables directly out of the plate to power a NanoFlash or a KiPro Mini and this leaves a D-tap open for an on camera light (great as an eyelight) or a monitor.
I like using the heavier batteries on my shoulder plate, they really help to balance the rig, IDX batteries can even be stacked for more counter weight.
You may have noticed my new "Gold Bar" system in the photos above, super compact and light. This is a prototype, of the most compact version, more on this in another post soon.
All of the above and a few more new items are now in stock on my web site:
