I saw this new promotion online at the following URL:

http://catalog2.panasonic.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ModelDetail?displayTab=O&storeId=11201&catalogId=13051&itemId=274232&catGroupId=112502&surfModel=AG-HMC150&gclid=CJKLu4nYnJoCFQSwFQod-S_e9Q

(Purchase an AG-HM150 between April 1, 2009 and June 30, 2009 and received a free Panasonic 16GB SDHC Memory Card with Class 6 performance (model RP-SDV16GU1K). Valued at $229.99.

I got my rebate of 8 GB card and the battery today. Hope this helps the new buyers.

Well, Pany may think its valued at $229.99, but I sure don't...LOL...

Oh well, better than nothing I guess. I'm just glad I got in on the battery rebate.

Probably would be cooler. This one is clunky and easy to loose and then forced to pay 3x too much for a piece of plastic.

At the linked site, the deadline is "September 30th, 2009" and not June 30th. I haven't seen anything about how to collect the free card though. Not even when I registered.

How long has it been for you, Green Thumb? Btw, checked around a little and found a form I need to complete and mail in to receive the card. I believe the time frame was "6-8 weeks", but that's after mailing time for the form. Argh, why couldn't this be done online? Bottom line, don't rely on freebies.
