New Owner - Thanks DVXuser

[Chris Messineo]

I just purchased a GH1 to use for my next film shoot.

I have been shooting with an HVX camera (and a DVX before that) for many years and it's been a long time since I had to learn a new camera.

I spent a few days going through the GH1 forums here, both to help make my purchasing decision and then to learn the ins and outs of the camera. It is amazing how much information and guidance there is here.

Thank you all so much. I can't wait for the shoot next month.

Sweet! I consider the dvxuser the real manual for the camera. Good luck on your shoot.

I check in to this place like I check my email- just part of my routine.

The community is great-- the mods have done a fantastic job steering the ship...priceless really.

....now if I could just start and FINISH a short to enter one of these fests!! (ARGH!!!):violin:
