Thanks for the advice
I bought a used manfrotto 132 tripod. A bit heavy with a big 116 fluid head. Tweaked a lens support and tested it with a vintage 5.6 400mm Nikkor. With 2K centercrop on the FS7 it is a virtual 800mm lens. And for the cropfactor minded, the field of view then is 1,39 x 400 x 2 = 1112 mm equivalent 35mm lens.
It is a steady wind force 5 here at the coast. (As always, except the days with more wind).
The difference with the light sachtler Ace is clearly visible. Almost no shaking at all and without microphone even better.
The tripod weights 9,2 kilo and the fluid head is fine.
50 euro well spend I think. (ex 7 euro postal cost).
I think the big baseplate does a lot of the job, more square centimeters contact surface, no wiggling.
