Definitely interesting. Philip Bloom quite likes it:
http://philipbloom.net/2010/03/10/review-of-noktor-f0-95-hyperprime-50mm-lens-for-micro-four-thirds/
"Wide open obviously it isn’t super sharp, it’s what I would call soft focus dreamy, stop down to F1.4 and it’s surprisingly sharp."

Steve Huff not so much:
http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2010/03/03/the-noktor-50-f0-95-lens-review-diary/
"The fact is, this lens is sort of like what a Leica Noctilux F0.95 would vomit out if it were sick."

Given that the Noctilux is $10,000, that's not so bad.... ;-)

An alternative would be something like the Voigtlander Nokton 50mm f1, at $1024:

Then again you can get a Canon FD-mount 50mm f1.2 L-series on ebay for possibly cheap-ish.

The Noktor is a pretty standard rehoused security camera lens from Goyo Optical. CCTV sensors are generally very low-resolution, and I'm not sure a lens manufactured with those requirements would make justice for a high-resolution sensor like the one in the FS100. Link to the lens they rehouse as the "Noktor": http://www.goyooptical.com/products/industrial/GMY45095MCN.pdf

I think a fast Voigtlander, Cosina or used Nikon or Canon would be a better investment.
