I know its just a rumor but it seems a much more plausible rumor than others as Nikon has been behind in the Video on DSLR game for a while.

But will it shoot 1080p video at 30fps? I jumped over to Canon because I got tired of waiting for Nikon to wake up in this area. I know others who have done the same thing or are just about to.

I bet the market for Nikon-to-Canon lens adapters is exploding.

30p hahaha I'm afraid the rumored specs are only a measly 24p. :2vrolijk_08:

Video resolution is the least of the shortcomings that Nikon needs to correct. I don't know why we should keep talking about rumors like this until we have some more detailed and reliable information. Based Nikon's track record, as far as video in DSLRs goes, we shouldn't be expecting anything competitive.

never try to have a sensible discussion about pixels with a pixel counter, you will just get frustrated. not even shooting a test chart helps when people would rather have pixels than sharpness.
