New music video! Red knife lottery, "junkie jazz" hvx, letus extreme, steadicam

Hey Everyone!

I shot a music video that was recently finished for the Milwaukee WI based band Red Knife Lottery. The song is entitled "Junkie Jazz" and it will be on their next record coming out in August on Uprising Records.

The video was filmed over two days. We used the HVX-200 with Letus extreme and Minolta lenses. I also used the Glidecam 4000 pro steadicam system with body harness and arm for much of the shoot. This was one of those situations where everyone and everything came together and went off (for the most part) without a hitch. Follow the link bellow to check out the video

Oh, and as always, I want to hear what everyone thinks, otherwise there isn't much reason for posting. THANK YOU FOR WATCHING AND ENJOY!!!

Oh yes

Oh yes

Nice work. Amazing light set up. What lenses did you used? Love the video and of course the song. Will play it on my German radio show.
Best.

Nice Work Travis!
The look and feel are tasty.

Question: is that a glidecam 2000? Which vest are you using with it
and how do you like the feel of it?

I just got my HVX200 today and realized it's much to heavy for my old
steadicam jr. LOL!

jbednarski: I honestly can't remember exactly what the settings were. THe production took place back in February.

TMerry: It was the Glidecam 4000 pro. The vest and arm are the Glidecam Smooth Shooter. It felt pretty good. I wore it for a good portion of both shoot days. It was taxing, but not bad for the most part. We had it maxed out with the camera, adapter and lenses.

Yes, with the new adapters and increased camera weights with every release
we all better be doing weight training as a side hobby :-D

Thanks for the info - again - great work!

look I'm gonna be honest, awfull song,

but the video looks great.

Did you have the Letus on with the Glidecam and smooth Shooter?

thanks,
Derrick

jbednarski: No, I didn't run the video through any de-noiser. The only thing we did was run the video through Color for some slight color correction and skin softening. The link below shows the before and after. Before is on the right and after is on the left.

Derrick_SA: I am glad you liked the video. I did have the Letus on with the Glidecam and smooth shooter. I posted a link to some production stills where you can see the rig in action. Now let ME be honest... It isn't a song for everybody. I didn't write it, but I do like it. I will say, however, that this forum/post is about the image and not the music so frankly I don't care what you think of the song. It is not necessary to tell me how awful you think the song is. I am not trying to be an a**, it is just a pet peeve that I have. Again, I am glad that you liked it.

Travis
