Was impressed by the editing most of all. Some nice moving shots, that flowed smoothly with a touch of artistic flavor. The action sequences with the focus and shake.

So who is Johnny Ching? Thought his camera work was fluid and professional. This was used with a HXV 200 and what other toys?
 
i used the redrock follow focus and a whip. johnny is a very talented dp, he has shot videos for fall out boy, panic at the disco, paramore.

let me know if you guys need a 1st ac if your in la shooting.

I just realized I worked on a set that johnny was dp on. that was almost a year ago.
 
What I'm looking for is a solid DP to shoot a feature film in early 2008. Script is done. Location pin downs are underway. Filming will be for 3 straight weeks using the HVX 200.

It's a low budget independent so it'll have a small crew. Last 2 indies shot like this received domestic and international distribution. One distributor was Lions Gate.

Sorry to segway this thread to left field, but I was really impressed by the video.
 
hey guys! dan dobi here (director/editor of this video). FYI, if you liked the editing in this and have a editor postion open (doesn't need to be music videos), please let me know ... I'm running a sweat shop of EXCELLENT editors out of my new office in Los Angeles. All editors have been trained by me so they know what they're doing. I supervise and deal with all jobs. just throwin it out there ...
