Hey all..

A short while back I tossed otu a few grabs from a music video I was working on (Old thread here... http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showthread.php?t=28985&highlight=music+video )

Anyway we have been working away, and I finally got a version complete with performance, story and the first run of CC up.

At anyrate it is loaded on the new google video upload. You have to download this "google video player" but if nothing else you can check out what it is all about. I don't like the fact that they re-compress it, but for free who can complain. I sent them a 51mb file, though it seems much smaller now. Plus let me know if you done hear audio (NOTE: There is no audio for the first few seconds of the video, not until the guy starts running. There will be ambient street noise there in the end) but if there is none otherwsie let me know. You need Windows 2000 or higher, and the comp I am on now is 98. Therefore I can view but not hear. (Man I can't wait till my site is finished!) Anyway, It is here

Thanks all!

P.S.
It just occured to me that subject title sounds a little "full of myself" Really all I meant was Music Videos are popular here, so I figured that in the title would grab interest.

Hey Tizzy, way to go man, that was great! I loved the camera work and the editing had a nice flow to it. The band wasn't bad either. Well done!

First off, thank you FourStar for the kind words, it is very much appreciated. I am used to working on bigger videos in a crew capacity, and on this I bassically did it all (Had a friend help grip, but I was director, DP, Dollie operator, camera operator, editor, ect) It was in alot of ways more freeing though. My friend would go to setup the dollie track in the next position and I could grab a hand held take in between. Very freeing. But again thank you.

Toilet Bob: Apparently you are not the only one having trouble with the google player. It is not a great option for sure, but when it is free and they give you no limit I can't really complain. I can tell you I will be down at the studio in Miami as of the first of next week. Then I will be uploading a Quicktime version to their server, so anyone who can view and wants to keep an eye out for that. Also I have an MPEG for anyone who wants it if you have Yahoo messenger or AIM I can send it to you (51mb, to big for e-mail but tranfers remarkably fast over the messengers) Just give me a shout here.

Thanks to all who have viewed, or tried to view. More to come.
