Hey guys. I'd like to share with you my company's second attempt at a music video. I was producer and editor on this one, and it was shot on the DVX100b with a 35mm adapter. The video is called "So Insane", by Lil Precious.

I'm always trying to get better so your feedback is much appreciated! :dankk2:

Thanks

Was well made and everything and song was catchy, but definately lose the horizontal stretch.

hey thanks i appreciate the well made comment :) but damnnnnnnnn is it really stretched? sometimes i cant tell.. i think i might have uploaded a wrong version to youtube, not sure.. gotta check now.. ack i hate aspect ratios...

Hey, nice pacing on the edit. Nice colors, and great camera movement/shots.

I can kind of remember your last video, but I know this one is a lot better and you guys have improved.

Keep it up, you'll just get better!

PS- On the stretch note, I thought it looked fine, but make sure you do the following for widescreen format on the DVX:

-Shoot squeeze
-Capture and edit in a 16:9 timeline
-Export using Quicktime Conversion, and in the "Custom" tab, type in 854x480.
-Hit ok
-Export

That should leave you with no problems, and that's the steps I always do in Final Cut. (Unless I want the 2:35.1 aspect ratio, then I'll send it over to compressor:))

liked. LOL at the white girl trying to dance behind the singer. Not saying white people can't dance, but yea definitely can tell she can't dance...well. It was kind of distracting to watch her behind the singer.

I really liked the video other than that, very professional. If I saw it on BET I wouldn't have known it wasn't done by a big production company.

I had a question, overall the girls you got for the video were pretty attractive...did you have to pay them? If so, how much? if not, how were you able to get them to be in it for free?

damn that was on a dvx100b? thats pretty clean. what 35mm adapter did you use? i thought it was great. very pro like video, so good job.
