new music video (Lark Watts)

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

I liked it. I thought the song was kinda wierd at first, but warmed up to it more at the end. I liked the old style footage, and some of the locations you had for him.

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

Nice. Great pacing, incredible locations and the song is good too. Definitely builds that John Mellencamp or Bruce Springsteen kind of Americana feeling throughout (in a cool Jack and Diane kind of way), and I like that the visuals don't pander to match the powerful lyrics.

I have zero critique of this video - I'd love to see more of your work!

Cheers,

e

Loved your work. Where did you get the super 8mm converted to DV for editing? Do you know what process they used?

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

NICE ;D

That was really good, great song, ,great visuals, original feel and style to it, very pro! Great work man

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

The artist (Lark) actually had the 8mm camera and wanted to add that look to the project. He sent the footage off to a company out of Atlanta to get it transferred to miniDV. They processed the film at 20fps, but can't tell you much more than that???

Funny story...I was really diggin' the vintage 8mm camera he had and when we finished the shoot, he ended up giving it to me!

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

Great job. You faithfully captured the "feel" of the song and interpreted it with great visuals and pace.

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

Looks great! I think it's ready for TNN (or at least the old TNN)

Re: new music video (Lark Watts)

Really nice job of editing/mixing shots and sources. Enjoyed the camera work. This is all so campish (Mellencampish that is).

More like this please!

Excellent work. Nice camera movement, editing, visual texture, nice everything.
