New Music Video HVX+Brevis, Clowns+Animals

I thought you did a great job. You certainly have your Brevis tweaked a little better than mine. Your footage is very sharp. Just wondering... what lenses did you use? I noticed a little vignetting on a few shots. Also, what were your HVX settings? And lastly, what CF did you have in the Brevis? Was it CFL1, or some other? Anyway... great work. Look forward to seeing what else you do.

It was CF1L I ordered CF3L with the unit but it still hasn't came :( Anyways I had sharpness pumped a little on the camera and everything else was normal other than a low master ped. The vignetting is most likely from my 20mm lens...unfourtunately it does that. I use nikon primes and I have a 20mm 50mm 85mm and 135mm

hope that helps and thanks for the comment

What type of Encoding did you use?

What type of Encoding did you use?

The video looks great.
My question is how did you get it to look so great online. What encoding settings do you use? My videos never look so good online.

I was wondering the same thing actually. I liked it a lot, nice work dude. How long did this take to shoot and how big of a crew did you have?

Thanks for the responses... For compression I compressed h264 in avid aiming for a little below 100megs to get the highest quality file hostable by my college's site.

As for how long and crew: We scheduled for a 3 day shoot but the first day we couldnt shoot indoors and were completely rained out so it was cut down to a two day shoot(which was rushed). As for crew we had noone...I was a one man crew. Some of the extras(aka clowns) and the band members were nice enough to help out and occasionally move heavy objects or hold the camera for a second when I had to do something but I was the only person with any sort of film knowledge on set and I ran the camera, directed, produced set up the lights andeverything on my own...which I think accounts for some of the rushed and less than perfect elements of the vid

Hope this helps

Chris
