F5: New Music Clip for Moroccan Knights

Here's my latest clip for a band called Moroccan Knights. Shot in STD5 Gamma with very high ISO for much of it (6400). The projector was not mega-bright and I was shooting much of it at 100-150fps, so couldn't use S-Log (no gain). It's a bit of a psychedelic 70's throwback. 90% of the clip was shot in camera as-is without any post manipulation.

It's a fun trip Peter! Did you have any issue with colour clipping artifacts (rough edges etc.) with the bright, contrasty colours? I've had some pretty nasty issues with the edges of bright, deeply colourful highlights on my F5.
 
I was pretty happy with the result. The front projection was SD. I wanted to re-shoot it in HD but the artist really wanted that artifacty broken look, so I stayed with the SD.

The detail and aperture was turned up a little in the profile. I would have rather have done it in Slog3 but I did a test and couldn't get enough exposure. Funny enough, the scope didn't indicate much clipping, but I guess the 709 profile in-camera took care of most of that.
 
Hey that is fun - nice - I think the saturated look worked perfectly.

On a technical side for another project you may consider testing SlogCustom - where you can engage high ISO.
