New Mr. Deity episode shot with HVX/M2 combo

geeez! just watched the last episode... Totally amazing. Congratulations on all the success so far, and good luck in the future with this!
 
Hey Gang! We hit number 9 today on the iTunes comedy podcast charts (Whoohoo! We broke the top ten!!!!). We also put up a special "Superbowl Extra" episode -- "Mr. Deity and the Press Conference." No M2 on this one --- and a lot of "video" look. I only have it at YouTube right now.

Thanks for all the enjoyment you've brought me because of your episodes and I can't wait to see you on HBO/Showtime/etc.

I really can't wait because then I'll be like, "No, I mean yeah...I've talked with the creators of this...yeah, yeah I know I'm awesome. Yeah, it's essentially like talking to the likes of Ricky Gervais....I know that...I'm awesome, that's what I just said. I just said that, Gervais....Diety...and the awesomeness. I get it."

And then I'll get like a million dollars just due to association.

Just saw this today, and I have to tell you how much I enjoyed watching all the episodes. You're perfect for the part, too, so you can always turn to acting if the producer/director/cameraman stuff doesn't work out. :)

Just a question about audio. I always thought that the hyper mics picked up some echoes indoors. Was the AT4073 that much better than the Octava?

Wow, those video are awesome, i love them, clever and witty. Very funny, keep it up!

One question:
What brand of lenses did you use on the M2. Canon, Nikon, others? The footage is some of the best I have seen with the HVX/M2 combo.
 
Hahah I love all of them. Well done technically but also a good example of what it means to stick to a simple idea and make it funny. I loved it. Best of luck in the future.
 
These are golden. Very entertaining. Way more clever than most of the chaff on TV these days. I hope you guys are able to sell this.
 
I'm just wondering how successfully these would transfer to a longer format--I mean, could you spin up enough material for half-hour episodes? I certainly hope so.
 
Wow! Nice to see a success story formed here on DVXUSER.. The question is not if you will succeed, but when? I give you a month before someone offers you some coin for the show, or coin to burn it and the idea..

Keep up the original amazing work! This is what TV should be.. HONEST, and no holds bar..
 
What is the name of the guy playing Mr. Deity? I need to get his contact info, anyone?
