new mountain bike footage

You have some nice composition in there. For example, the close focus shot on the rock with riders out of focus passing in the back.

Only bad thing I could note is the length of the credits at the beginning. Those need to be at least 1/3 to a 1/4 as long. You almost lost me before I even had a chance to see the footage.

Keep up the good work!

I missed the opening credits because I was in another firefox tab at the time, but I saw most of the footage. Composition was excellent, and what dof you have with the 1000 was used to maximum advantage, something that I haven't seen a lot of with that camera. I also liked the saturation.

I do, however, have one problem with the whole vid. There didn't seem to be enough movement. All your shots were rock solid, and while there is certainly nothing wrong with that, overuse doesn't seem to fit the vibe of a bike video. I generally like to see some pans, etc. It seems to add so much more excitement to this type of video. Mix it up a bit. Once again, excellent composition.

it would be nice to have someone to film but the vid told a story of a quick run down the mountain thus the lack of camera movement there was only 2 of us riding so we had to give the effect of us flowing through the trail I mounted the camera on trees for some shots and even upside down for more hight then I flipped the footage upright. If I was filming riding in general I would put more camera movement but here I wanted to make it feel as if there was no camera just to old guys(lol) getting away from the daily grind and just going for a ride.

But I do understand the importace of camera movment thanks for the crit
all is welcome always like to learn more.

That's why I liked your shots. Not the same old thrashing down the mountain vid. Something different that gives us a new perspective.
