HDSLR: New MFT camera to be announced on June 5, 2024??

lol, you audio guys are crazy.

Use the new technology at your disposable (and what clipping and what is pointless?), and any editor who doesn't know how to use it or change/update their workflow shouldn't be editing audio.

I always heard those stories of the camera and audio departments butting heads...😝
When I get hired on a show, I receive delivery specs for production audio. If I just decide that they’re wrong and start sending in 32-bit float when they asked for 24-bit, I’m probably not going to last long on that show, or get hired back.

When it becomes a standard workflow and they start asking for it, I’ll deliver it. Until then, it’s really not even my decision to make.

Yeah, that's understandable, if you're not a decision-maker, you have no choice.

I once freelanced for a company that wanted me to shoot in 30p and I said I wasn't doing it.

The money didn't matter; it was the principle because they didn't know why they wanted 30p and were stuck in old ways I wasn't going to be a part of (24p was the better choice for this content).
