New Members: Profile, PM, etc Permissions. READ THIS FIRST

Hi everyone!

This is not my fist post as I already have trolled the audio forum before introducing myself. Sorry about that!

I live in France where I teach "information technology" and "digital electronics". Usually, my students range from teenagers to young adults. Our purpose is either to prepare them for a specific job, or for further studies, depending on their profile. My primary goal when joining the forum was to be able to learn how to record "great" videos ... mostly vocational training videos for my work at first. But I must admit my personal interest in that matters keep growing days after days.

... hum ... if I may ... :embarasse
... if didn't quite read the FAQ before registering (shame on me!) ... so ... well ... is it possible for an admin to change my login name from "sleroux" to my real name "Sylvain Leroux" ?

- Sylvain

So the "READ THIS FIRST" actually means I have to read this first to figure out how to post? Makes sense lol.

My name's Brian, I'm a video/audio producer in northern CA. I've been lurking on the forums for a while and finally decided to make it official and register. Lots of great info here.

Hello, my name is Rafael.

Hello, I'm new and kinda lost. I'm here searching for topics, guests & listeners for my filmmakin' podcast Respect The Process. Just interviewed Adam Epstein who edits SNL's digital shorts. So I think this group would dig that. And some of you may make great guests talkin' about your field, your passion. What forum would be appropriate? Thanks, Jordan

Hi there!

I'm brand new to the site. I signed up because I read the "How to get started and stay in business" thread and found it so rewarding and informative that I want to try and give back, somehow.
I work for a small, relatively young multimedia production studio called Above Summit. We specialize in aerial videography and photography, using Unmanned Aerial Systems ("drones"). I'm just trying to get more involved in the community, so feel free to drop me a line!

Cheers,
Dave Avery

Been waiting a while to have my new account confirmed. 'David Jean Kalver' so using this one while I wait, I was going to opt for messaging the admin to change this one to my name instead but I've been unsuccessful there also. Please advise

My name is Morgan Simpson and I live in Amarillo, TX.

I am married and have two little ones. I am a director, writer, and producer who ,like many others ,does a lot of freelance video work to help pay the bills.

I've been a member for awhile now, mostly for the marketplace, but wanted to get more involved in the community aspect now. I look forward to meeting new friends and being a part of the dvxuser community!
