I've recently found this forum, and pretty much liked it. I work as a video editor /filmmaker /photographer since... idk like 6 years or so. But, i recently ( a year ago) got upgraded my canon photostuff to hd video capability, and started moving around the web in related topics to learn more :)

Hi! I'm Kaisa Aho. I'm a new filmmaker/screenwriter. I have written a few scripts but I have only produced one short film so far (the cinematographer/editor guy stole off with it or lost it or something and refuses to reply to my emails but it wasn't that great of a script so it's not a big loss). I'm planning on making a lot of short films soon.
I just bought my first camera two days ago; the beautiful Panasonic HVX200a. I am absolutely in love with it. After seeing footage from it a couple years ago I fell in love and knew it was the camera for me. I have been daydreaming about it ever since and could not imagine having any other camera. Now my dream has become a reality and I can't wait to use it soon for short films and full length films!

Bryan Howard here. Been lurking since 2010 thought i should post a " hay it's me" to everyone. My background is in still photography. I have allways wanted to get involved in cinema. Now that I have some basic gear I think I will give it a try. I am just getting use to my GH2 and I hear there is a GH5 comeing out... Ug! Have to perfect this one first...

As I have to make some A/V takes of my grandmother 100 years old, to be published in an eBook, I need to learn how to make video. Just a little bit.
