Hi ya'll...new member here. I'm a wedding DJ based out of Arizona, and have become interested in recording footage. Nowhere near what a cinematographer does...more limited to the dancing portion of the evening. Hoping to learn a lot from all you veterans out there!
 
Hi everyone!

I'm a teen filmmaker out of Alpharetta, GA. I do a lot of indepedent filmmaking and also some client production work on commercials and stuff. I mainly use an Panasonic AF-100 and I love it! Since I'm still a teen and can't attend film school yet, I turn to the internet for a lot of my filmmaking education, so I hope to learn a lot from you guys!

Hi, I'm a UK based videographer with just over ten years professional experience in business to business films and more recently producing feature length documentaries (one released last month and one in production). I also create most of NewBlueFX's tutorials. I am reasonably active on other forums and thought I should give dvxuser a whirl, primarily for the strong AF-100 forum.
 
I am an experienced cameraman getting back into the biz. Just bought a Canon C300 package with Cinema Primes and some L glass. Now based in LA I used to work in the Washington, D.C. market as an owner/ operator with a BVW507 Betacam and an Arri Super 16 package. I find this is a great forum to exchange ideas with peers and would like to participate.

Hello, My name is Kevin and I'm a telecine colorist. I've been shooting more video over the past couple of years (I feel like my day job's days are numbered), and began perusing the site about 2 months ago for info regarding an upgrade from my DVX-100A to an HPX-170. However, since reading the posts about the AC90, I decided to get it instead. I couldn't be more pleased with it, and I want to thank everyone who posted reviews, video samples, technical specifications, and comparisons. The information you have provided has been invaluable and so incredibly useful. I'm now deep into Barry's AC90 book (also priceless) and am looking forward to the music videos and weddings I have scheduled for the coming year. Again, thank you all very much, and have a terrific New Year !!
