Hello Jason. CheapFilmmaking.com here. I give advice and pass on info about what I've found are some good ways to make movies on a shoestring budget. I'm new on your site and looking to jump in and see what's happening on the boards. You've got some great threads going here!
Hi, I'm Alex from Maryland. I just bought a Panasonic AC 130 and was looking for a forum to meet other Panasonic AC 130 operators and learn a few things. Thanks!
I'm new to DVXuser. My background is in still photography with an interest in filmmaking and storytelling. I look forward to learning and hopefully being a regular contributing member.
Hello dvxusers! my name is Seth Lind, and I'm the director (and writer among other things) of Voices in the Night Films, located in West Central Indiana. I'm looking for all stages of production help, if anyone is interested PM me.
Hey guys! I read about this in the 'Down & Dangerous' Kickstarter updates! Zak Forsman mentioned that he was a moderator! I have a film on Kickstarter I wanted to share here! Thanks!
Hello Everyone, My name is Monty and I am looking forwards to learning more about the dvxuser community. I've avoided joining over the years because I really have done more reading than shooting, and my first camera was an Hv30... and the HV20 user site is awesome.... didn't feel the need to go elsewhere at the time.
But now that I have more time and am upgrading my stuff, and planning to actually make a movie of some sort, I realized after doing some searches on pertinent info that this site is a huge untapped (for me) resource.... and so I join.
Well, I'm looking forwards to meeting some new people and learning a lot.... thanks for providing the forum (administrators)... Monty
Oh yeah, as long as I'm here... love http://nofilmschool.com/ as well as the DAW Reaper.... worth checking out... Using Vegas Pro is my main NLE.... Nikon camera and both auto and manual glass.
Nikon stills (F3, D700) user here. Looking to branch out into video. Just sold a Canon XL2 to upgrade to something larger sensor and more cinematic. A lot going on in that area. I am swinging between VG30 for learning the art and jumping right into C100 or FS700 and possibly EA50 or FS100 in between. I will be checking the forum a lot as these camera all become available. Thanks.
