New mac editing final cut pro with dvx100b

Has anyone tried editing on the new mac book pro??


I'm going to be using a dvx100b with a fire wire...

Please let me know if their are any problems...

Are you using Final Cut Pro or Express? You shouldn't have any issues, I spoke with an Apple rep when I was shopping around trying to figure out what i need vs what I could afford, and they said you need Macbook Pro to run Final Cut Pro. You should not have any issues. I think you just need to make sure the camera is powered off before connecting so you don't fry the firewire connection. (I think I read that on this website somewhere!)
