maybe I'd have Glenn Fry on my ipod, but only if I was transported back in a time machine to sometime in the 80's otherwise I might get beat up!...
Well, I love Glenn Fry's stuff but that video's . . . (not good)!

Like the video posts keep 'em coming creative...
Amen . . .

considering the fact that i dont like 99% of music videos
or 90% of music created in the past few years
i dont watch any music videos unless linked to or recommended by friends with like tastes in music videos
I cant remember the name of the band, or the song, but the one with the robot in the desert
Erm . . .
Are you actually in a position to criticise anyone who actually PRODUCES video on an HVX200?

thanks for all the support, Iam actually DPing a music video on thursday with the same great crew and the producer is directing this time. It takes place in a garden thats decaying as the song progresses. We got a cigar cam, non hd because the hd was 1000 a day to rent :-0, that we plan to mount unto the drum players chest. The location is great, a lotta weddings are hosted there. The best part is that we have permission to tear one part of the garden apart. Iam thinkin 60 fps baby. I also just got a lensbaby so look out for some of that in this video.

btw, I want to do some really cool time lapse shots of flowers decaying. Has anyone ever tried that. what chemical makes them decay faster than normal? any ideas? need some help.

thanks again for all the support, and maybe this video will entertain cynic a little more. you should be a critic instead of a dp, i think that roll would suite you better.

just a thought

Creativeeye any ideas on what the band was charged for a video like this? Have you ever done any rap videos? I really thought the video looked very clean and professional it seemed as if it was shot on Film. I am in the LA area and would love to give you a hand on your shoot. I will pm you.

I have shot a couple of rap videos. One should be up shortly. its by Dom Kennedy - who rollin with me. it looks great. shot in 2 days, with no crew, very low budget.

ill also post some screenshots from another m video i have dped. check them out.

I have no clue what the whole video costs, I know my rate. We can talk about that when you have dates, locations, and gear required decided.

I have to agree with the guy who said it was boring. Well not really boring but repetitive. It was simply the same party seen over and over. Kind of the same territory the Beastie Boys covered in Fight for your right to party. In that case the song was far better (in my personal opinion) than this song here.

Also, I kind of felt that there was to much light. Like everything was brightly lit.
