I recently started working with a company here on maui doing weddings. The owners let me borrow their sony z1u hdv camcorder, and a nice sony hdv deck.
I was wondering if anyone has used a deck before because im having troube getting fcp to detect it, im goin to try premiere next.
They want me to clean up some footage from a 1 hour wedding, they have 2 tapes and want me to splice them together so that
its smoother , no shakeyness, ect.
any tips or pointers would help, kinda sucks i gotta capture all tapes. main reason i got a hpx170 was to not have to deal with tapes anymore.
but i only have a 16gb p2 card, and they told me to get prices for them so they might buy a few for me.
