i insist that everyone watch both parts of episode 2. It may not be in your taste but i can assure you that you will enjoy it.
 
I just finished watching those videos, ahaha I loved it. You need to watch the whole thing but it's deffinately worth it good job, I can't wait to see the next one! The second episode is your strongest deffinately.

But i just could not get on board with this.

The material is patently offensive. Which would not bother me, per se, but I feel like it's just handled in such a sloppy way that there is very little to redeem it. I mean, come on, it's 2007. Retard jokes????? If you're going to do that, I think there has to be something underneath, and to me there just isn't. It doesn't say anything. And if you're making retard jokes and you're not saying anything, you're just mean ****er.

Also, SHORTER!!!! These should be no longer than 5 min. Both the stories and the editing should be cut to the bone. Also, both your actors and the editor(presumably, you are all of them) would really benefit by working on timing. There is basically no timing in this at all, and that is part of the reason the jokes all fell flat for me. I understand that in the YouTube world, actual comedic skill is not that important when you're going up against "Dog on a Skateboard," but you should really invest some time in watching great comedy. It's about the hardest thing in the world to pull off.

Also, get some real performers. Another thing that hurts this so badly, is the guy playing the retarded one is just a joke as an actor and comedian (sorry if that is you). Get an actor who is either brilliant or just plain funny. That guy is neither.

Even still, retard jokes? It's 2007, man. Try harder.
 
well i feel bad that you feel that way. The show is really not meant to be taken seriously. oh and i just thought i might bring up the fact that the lead actor (daryl) is actually slightly retarted.
 
It was shot poorly and acted poorly. It was too long. The humor wasn't smart. I don't care if something is offensive, but if it's not smart-if it doesn't surprise me then I get bored. I don't mean to rag too much. I know how difficult it is to make ANYTHING and I commend you for doing a series. But if I could offer suggestions they would be to cut it way down- under 6 min- and try and come up with some more solid concepts. Keep us guessing. You CAN be crude annnd smart . Naked Gun does it. So did American Pie 1 to some extent. Good luck with the series!

Why are you asking peole what they think if it's not meant to be taken seriously. It's just really bad, dude. Seriously or not. And about the fact that you mention the lead actor is "slightly retarded"....so? Do you want us to feel sorry for him? He's jerking off and shiting blood and being totally unfunny. But congrats on finishing something, it's more than most people do.
