New iMac 24" as HVX Editing station...?

Youll definatly be able to edit with that machine. I still use my Macbook Pro 2.0ghz Core Duo for alot of editing, since i primarily work with 720pn as well, the screen rez is enough at 1440 x 900 to view every pixel and it SCREAMS through FCP and HD footage without needing to render anything on its monitor or its dual display
 
Great! I dont have a way to tell you in numbers though, unless you got some sort of project file you make and send to me.
