"New" IDX Endura 10S looks like used, did I get screwed?

I recently purchased a pair IDX Endura 10S batteries, just got them by UPS and one of them doesn't look like new. It has cuffs and marks all over, look for yourself. Alone from the fact that the second one looks way better I'm assuming I got a second hand or refurbished one but I paid for a new one.

Before I complain at the shop I'd like to hear your opinions on this, thanks in advance.

That's what I thought, the other one I got has only some marks on the bottom. Also the manual was missing in the package of the bad looking one.
I bought this at globalmediapro.com.
Unfortunately I had troubles already after ordering. I ordered a E10 kit including 2 batteries and a charger, listed as in stock. Mysteriously this kit vanished from the shop now and I got a mail telling me it was discontinued bla bla bla. So I pushed them to give me the E10S kit instead which was listed at the same price when I ordered and is now also very mysteriously much more expensive.
I also mailed to IDX about this but no reply yet.

A couple of years ago I too, bought some v-lock "GMP Branded" batts from GMP, they took weeks to get after paying up front, and they lasted just on two years, and the associated LI charger also blew at about the same time.
I have replaced them with locally sourced Pro-x and a City-Tek batt, plus a SWIT charger, maybe more expensive but at least I have them, and the local dealer wants to sell me more product, GMP and their products in my experience were forgetable to say the least. These batts are about as expensive as it gets so do it right first time, if it fails in a few months your done....
Demand your money back and buy from a known local dealer in your area.

I thought IDX were supposed to be high quality and reliable brand batteries. I know a lot of pros using IDX. Of course, if you get used or refurb ones that's a whole other matter.
I just sent a complain, let's see how they react. Why can't anything be normal these days?

I use IDX, havent lost a second from the first charge to the latest. Its not IDX, I think GMP may have passed you used stock.

IDX is helping out now, I have a direct line to their staff. They told me that they terminated their partnership with GMP long time ago and that I shouldn't buy from them again. They don't have to tell me that twice, lol.
I gave them the serial numbers etc. Turned out that I really got used batteries!!!
The shipment came from another company in Singapore. I don't know how GMP is involved in this, but obviously they cannot be trusted.
Since I told them that I got used batteries and demanded a full refund I haven't got a reply within several days.
IDX will send me new batteries and I can send the used ones back to them on their own Fedex account, so no cost for me. Problem solved, but still. GMP shouldn't get away like that.
I will be looking into options going after GMP legaly as this is obviously fraud.

A Big "Well Done To IDX", No company can afford to dismiss a genuine client complaint. i'd be surprised if GMP get back to you at all.

GMP, well lets just hope future buyers of their products take heed at this tale of woe..

Double that, Kudos to IDX.

In the meantime I have gotten a "new" battery, again coming from Singapore organized through GMP. Oh yes, this time it looked almost like new, only the serial number was teared off the box.
Although I mailed them to give me a refund they simply ignored my instructions. Another minus for GMP.

I'm really curious how this all will turn out, in the end I will have 5 batteries, ROFL.

I have bought from them one year ago and without any problems, guess I was lucky the first time.
They now say if I want to buy from them again I have to keep this incident secret. Are they fuxxxx kidding me? Not even an apology.

Avoid Globalmediapro like the plague!

"Keep it a secret," eh? Classy.

Though, they threaten to sue anyone who posts a bad rating on resellerratings.com, which is why so many complaints are retracted.
