I am a bit late with posting this but when I rang up Panasonic last friday to ask them some questions about the HVX, they were able to tell me that in the next 3 weeks they are planning on shipping the first new cameras.
They said they were busy with the preparations for marketing it at the moment I was calling them.
When I asked them some questions about the model all of a sudden they kept quiet.
For the record, I am not German (I'm Dutch, and that is a different language/country like some Americans tend to forget), and my German is not my best language.
What he did want to tell me it's more then just an update or a revision. He said it was a totally new model. The name will also be very different from HVX200.
