Hello Everyone!
Ok so I finally got my new HPX170 and have been messing around shooting things all day with it. I was very egar to get home and mess around in post with my newly captured footage.
(I have a PC with Adobe CS4)
But, once I had installed the P2 Driver and the P2 viewer I plugged in my camera via the USB cable andddd.... Nothing. It didn't even show up as a device. So then I decided I'd try the firewire. Ah ha! This time the camera showed up! But when I went to open the device to view the files I recived a message that read, "Creation of the video preview failed." "Please Check the device connection and make sure that the device is not being used by another applacation or user."
So Then I decieded to try and reinstall the Driver. When I did this and got to the part were, (as I read on here someone said it was the part where the computer shakes hands with the camera haha.) the computer is suppose to read the camera via the USB cable;
It says, "This installer will install AG-HPX170(P2 Handheld) USB driver. Please connect AG-HPX170(P2 Handheld) by USB 2.0"
And when I do this and click INSTALL, it doesnt do anything. My computer beeps and that meassage stays up there.
I have been up for hours now reading my HPX book, the instruction manual, dvxuser, and just the internet for a solution with no luck

Can anyone help me?
