I have no idea what it does but just had an email from Panasonic about some new Firmware.. Enjoy :-

I recently purchased a 370, and did the 12.19 upgrade a few days ago. In this latest firmware version how do you access the ability to select between PAP settings 1 & 2? I do not see it in the 'Other Functions' menu or anywhere else.

Press the Menu button while holding down the DISP/MODE CHK button at the same time, you'll get a new menu option then, and PAP mode selection is there.
 
I have not been on this site for a while but has there been a firmware update the last 12 months for the HPX300/301 ??? I really mean the 300/301 not the 370/371.
