I looooooooove the goal in the background. what's this film about? You said it's a musical?? is a comedy?
 
Firstly, I wasn't directing - its a school musical, and I'm just doing a trailer for them...As for the soccer goals er...*sigh* Couldn't control it. That was the only field we had in school - lol. There are some shots of the antagonist leaning against the goal post as well, I'm hoping no one will notice. It's going to be a quick cut in the final trailer so with any luck I'll get away with it. Btw, for the first grab, the guy was using a real knife, heh, so the girl got pretty darned scared. Now THATS what I call getting into character ;p

@ markcheng, the musical is a dramedy, with its comedic and tragic elements. That scene....wasn't supposed to be funny.

What kind of rifles are those?

Looks interesting, nice grabs and stuff. How old are you?
 
Hi, MiniMan, I'm 16 next tuesday. Those are prop rifles from the play and are made of wood. They look really fake in real life, but I guess no one'll notice on film. The pistol was, however an exact replica of a Walther P99 - i think.

EDIT - forgot to say earlier, these grabs have been run through magic bullet's bleach bypass
 
Well, firstly those are Japs, and secondly it was shot in Singapore...so er...heh. But I doubt there were high rise buildings in 1942.....or walther p99s....

but hey, you guys look like you had more fun that anyother kids in singapore that day. except for a few continuity details, good work.

haha, i hope i didnt sound condescending either... My friends and I are big fans of Deployment Strategy.

As for the style of the musical, well, those actually involved in the musical are still at a pretty early state of rehearsals. So we're basically trying to make the trailer look as good as possible to kinda dupe them into buying tickets for something that may or may not be good to watch - WASNT MY IDEA(Principal's idea)
