Thank you for the heads up.

[pjsssss]

Thanks. I just grabbed one.

Just received this camera today and it is indeed hackable. I cannot believe how fast this got here. I kind of like the gold color.

Are you doing it on purpose?

Congrats.

What are the country and date of manufacture? (first four alpha-numerals of the serial number on the bottom will tell us)

[pjsssss]

WE0C Made in China

[pjsssss]

About $584.00.

[PJF]

March 2010, nice.

Shoot with underexposure at 800+ ISO when you get the chance and see if there're any vertical fixed pattern noise streaks. Maybe you got one of the Blackout special A cams.

[David Cole]

Just bought two for a 3D crash camera project (kinda sad... they probably won't live thru the shoot).

[Lucas Adamson]

What's a Crash Camera Project, David?

I'm upset now. Bloody 3D as well. Jeezy Creezy!

[David Cole]

Yeah - I hesitated to mention the possible destruction of such fine gear. Maybe they'll survive. The 3D shoot involves a bad ending for a vehicle and these will just be b-roll cameras in harm's way.

[pjsssss]

Price has gone up to 625AU in the last couple of days. Must be getting low.

[meinyvr]

Damn it. I ordered one and got busted on duties and taxes. Frack. Over $800 my final cost. frack frack frack.

[AZ Erik]

frack frack frack.

That reminds me, what happened to Caprica..

[David Cole]

Amazing. My Gh1's just arrived from Hong Kong - brand new, perfect condition, fully hackable (and already hacked now) AND sequential serial numbers. Thanks, truestory, for posting this!!
