alright guys so ive decided to jump on the GH1 bandwagon and ive got a couple questions for you fine people.
Before i buy i want to make sure the camera i get is still hackable as i understand video quality improves with the hack. How do i know the camera i buy is hackable? as to what the hack does i don't know. would someone care to enlighten me? I would also like to know how to apply the hack, i think a link would suffice.
Im seeing used gh1s going for around 1200-1300 bucks including the lens. is this a good price point or would i be better off waiting for another deal.
As far as the GH2 goes, from what i hear 1080 60p is the deal breaker. I dont really have a need for that so the gh1 still looks like the better option. Never mind the fact i need the camera by the end of the week.
I am going to be using the camera to do nature videography and filming guitar lessons for online and dvd distribution. What accessories would you guys recommend for that line of work. - audio does not apply
Does the stock gh1 have a time limit on the video recording?
I would like to be able to do some very wide shots, particularity in a mountain range setting. What lens would you recommend.
I think thats all i need to know now. Il admit i searched a little bit but didnt find much on this - i havent got alot of time so any opinions and advice are welcome!
