GH3 New GH-3 or something more modest?

Hey guys!

I posted something similar to this with mixed-results on the eoshd forums, and by mixed results I am getting so many different opinions on this question!

I have been toying with the idea of buying a A7s or a GH-4 for like a month and a half now (started teaching so I finally have disposable income). The GH-4 because of its compactness and 4k shooting, and the a7s so that I could shoot stuff without the immediate need for renting/buying lights.

A little about my experience: I studied film in school, have had quite a bit of experience as a grip, done a fair amount of editing, and have, overall, been around video a decent bit the past few years in both commercial and independent productions. So, I feel like I know what I would want out of my shots. Whether I could get them is a different beast because...

I haven't had really much time behind a camera, myself. I know the ways to achieve exposure, but still, I consider myself a noob when it comes to the actual act of shooting.

So, the input I've gotten has generally been buy a cheaper body like a used GH-2, GX 7, A3000, and invest my money in things like glass and a tripod. At this point, I'm just a bit overwhelmed by the options [like should I buy m4/3 glass or FF in the event that I upgrade to it in the future], and it'd be nice to find a happy consensus from some experienced shooters.

One of the things I should note, I am buying whatever I end up getting through Best Buy to purchase it on credit, so unfortunately, something like a GH-2 is out of the equation, but I did find a GH-3 on there for 800!

Sorry for the essay guys, but I appreciate your time.

Low light ability by no means replaces the need for lights. Lights are not for exposure, they're for crafting a look. Low light ability is good for documentary style shooting, or for capturing ambient light.

Right, sorry! I should've noted that travelography would definitely be some of my main shooting subjects.
