New FX cam?

yeah, true, Canon does the same with several of those lower-end mirrorless'; I just automatically say B&H because that's the only place I'm ever looking anymore.

I don't know what the deal is but seems like a FX6II would be really nice right about now, not sure how well a FX9II would do for over $10K but they probably need something in that window before the Burano.

"An FX30 with ND at $2500 would be direct competition for BM's Pocket 6K pro. And maybe if they do the full-frame version later they get people to buy twice." Yeah, good point. Rarely if ever do I see Sony discount their Cinema line...

Not really in the market for a new camera, but I'd go for an FX6/FX6II over an FX9/FX9II. But I also had less than zero interest in the Fs7 series.

Since the Burano is the first with both IBIS and eVND, I don't see it hitting the "entry level" FX30 style camera next. I'd serious consider trading in my FX6 for something with both IBIS and eVND at the same sort of price point or lower even if it was s35!

So would I, but not s35. I've become spoiled by the FF' FOV of my fx6...

And it also just screws up the focal length range I have to go s35

I wouldn't have thought that the fx30 would get an update next. I only guessed it because they're discounting it

The rumors said that a camcorder-style FX body is coming out as well as something else. So who knows, maybe it's an FX9mk2 + an FX3 or 30 mk2 with ND. Maybe they share the same sensor.

Looks like Canon is offering even steeper proportional discounts on some aps-c bodies such as r100 and r8. So maybe I was wrong about a new fx30. Maybe the aps-c segment isn't seling well. But I've met fx30 buyers
