I'm working on something new for a music video treatment. This is just some randon shots I wanted to share from my first location. The music is just being used so its not dead air while watching. There is a different song for the real treatment. Please note this is very random and not really in any order. I just wanted to share some of my shots. Thank you for your time.

Very nice work. I love the overhead shots and would love to see more of those. Big, sweeping, overhead passes are nice.

i think the colors were too saturated. i know it was intentional, but maybe a little less saturation would look better. i liked the rack focuses and overhead shots.
is that A Perfect Circle by the way? it sounds like them.

That was pretty good--you've definitely got an eye for composition. I also enjoyed the overhead shots--they really draw you into the scene. Maybe a bit overdone on the rack focus shots--like any effect they should be used sparingly so they have a big impact when you do see them. I like the locations and the color grading worked for me, although I'm watching on my laptop which tends to wash out colors a bit. Where are you in MD? I'm going to be shooting a music video and would love some help--if you've got any interest.

I liked it overall but felt that the rack focus was overdone and also the overhead shot seemed a little tentative to me, the camera didn't seem to be moving with "confidence" as it were.

I think you are on the right track though...

Thanks for the comments. Please note that these are just random shots, they aren't editing together in there final placement with other shots.

Hmm... I'm impressed. I like the style and motion... I understand the one overhead shot being a little shakey 'cause that shot has got to be a hard one to get without some serious equipment.

With the crazy handheld documentary style shooting that's so popular now... go to any movie to see what I mean... this looks like butter. Good job.

i liked it a lot. How did you get the color on the second shot - the bunch of sunflowers to look like that? Color correction?

I presume this is what the earlier comment about 'too saturated' was referring to, but frankly I loved it. top job!

I liked the saturation too, I think it works with what ur doing. A couple of shots didn't work with the rest of the footage, but other than that, nice work.

I dig the heavy saturated colors and the overhead shot was sweet. It could of been a little smoother but I'm sure that can easily be fixed.

I hope the actress isn't always in a catatonic state like that. That would be sad. So very sad. :D

The spooky thing about that footage is that I just saw something on Mtv that looked almost like that except it was for Britney Spears! They had shots of Britney walking through an area much like which was captured in your video. Lots of trees, and green plants..etc just like you got in your piece....you didn't submit your treatment to them did you? BTW, Loved the crane shots!

I dig the color-- I miss color-every reel I see from directors is so desaturated.

I like the camera work and the compositional treatment of the shots. Nice reference piece for starting the edit.

Color and composition were great. It got to the point though where I was expecting a rack focus in every shot. Too many in my opinion. I would have liked to see the camera move around a bit more.

i thought the video was really amazing. i looked up your other posts with your other videos that i must have missed. and they were equally amazing. especially MDfilms3.mov. you're very talented. i thought all the videos looked incredible. i wouldn't change a thing.
