A phase coating will probably be necessary for the roof section (like in binoculars), but I don't see it as being that much of a problem.

kyle.presley said:UPDATE: I should have a prototype out soon after the first of the year, hopefully. I plan to build four versions of the adapter: SD Static, SD Static Flipping, HD Vibrating, HD Vibrating Flipping. The GG I'm using right now only loses about a half stop of light or less. I have the plans for the flip unit, but have not got it manufactured yet, so I can't test light loss until I get it. The adapter is in the works. The design is pretty much down. Now, it's just getting all the pieces put together.

kyle.presley said:I've done tons of R & D and I guarantee you, this will work. I've already built the image erector, thanks, and it does work. Please give a basis for why you don't think it'll work.

The pictures you posted work for the SLR. Are you saying that Kyle's design doesn't work because it doesn't have the setup the SLR does, it's missing a lense? Because what you posted, unless I'm insane, don't those pictures work?
