Next HVX what features would you like to see & when would you expect Panny to come up with one? is it too early to be asking for an update? As good as HVX is its still not practical for Event videography my wsih list focuses on making HVX a better camera by opening the Event sector of the marlet for it.
Heres my wish list
1 - AVC-HD (Record to P2 & MiniDv at same time maybe?? 16GB P2 would hold how many minutes of AVC-HD something over an hour if my guess is in the right direction)
2 - DvcPro HD (As is with both 720 & 1080 inculding the variable frame rates)
3 - Make it Shoulder Mount yet Portable/light (like JVC HD100, PANASONIC AG DVC60 & not XLH1)
4 - A Good Fixed Lens (something like canon is using in XH A1, good wide & tele range) will do.... keep the interchangeable for the higher budget cameras
5 - HDSDI/Genlock
6 - Both LCD & EVF
8 - Black Body
7 - Have it sit between XLH1 & HVX200 in terms of price
8 - Bring it out this october or before & shake things up a bit for Canon's XH A1 & G1
feel free to add/subtract your own wish list as to what you wana see in the next version of an already great cam.
