New Faster & Wider Metabones Speed Booster BMCC

Today Metabones release two new Speed Boosters for Blackmagic shooters. These adapters are completely new and purpose designed to fit only the Blackmagic cameras.

• Increase maximum aperture by 1 & 1/3 stop. (with a maximum output aperture of f/0.80)
• Makes lens 0.64x wider.

Andrew Reid at EOSHD reports, "Now just to be clear – these new Speed Boosters are designed ONLY to fit the Blackmagic cameras. They will not fit a standard Micro Four Thirds camera (due to the space taken up by the shutter mechanism for stills)."

No shutter on the AF100… Might the Metabones Nikon G to BMCC Speed Booster work on the AF100?

Looks nice and definitely makes those cameras more attractive. If only they could solve the rest of the BM problems...

Most likely not, due to the ND wheel housing in front of the sensor. I might test fit one on an old Oly m43 Pen body if I ever came across a bmccSB

Thanks mcbob, I forgot about the ND filter wheel.
